Retailer of the Year
In 2002, Beth Tom won the "Hawai'i Retailer of the Year", or "Ho'okela" award, for the Price Busters chain.
The word "Ho'okela" means to strive or aspire to excellence. This award recognizes and honors retailers and retail businesses in Hawai'i who display exemplary performance in the industry and their contributions to the community. To receive such acclaim in an industry so vital to Hawai'i's economy is a tremendous accomplishment.
Price Busters is honored and proud to be held in the same regard with other well known retailers such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Big Island Candies, Jeans Warehouse, and ABC Stores to name a few.
